How it works
- Your site and Google profile are checked
- You get a plain-English report each month
- The few fixes worth making, in order
The problem
When someone in town searches for a plumber or a dentist, the businesses near the top get the call, and the ones further down mostly don’t. An SEO report tells you, in plain English, the few fixes most likely to help local customers find you.
SEO (search engine optimization) is the work of getting your business into those top spots. Whether you show up depends on a lot of small things: how your website is built, what it says, how fast it loads and how complete your Google Business Profile is.
There are plenty of free tools that scan a website and spit out a long list of warnings. The trouble is that most of the list doesn’t matter, and it’s hard to tell which three things would.
What I set up
A scheduled check of your website and your Google Business Profile. Each month, you get a short report in plain English: what changed, what’s working and the few things worth fixing next, in order. If something breaks in between, like a page that stops loading, you hear about it sooner. For a business in Ephrata or Moses Lake, the goal is showing up when someone nearby searches, not ranking across the country, so that’s what the report focuses on.
The scan itself isn’t the valuable part. Free tools can do that. What I add is reading the results, deciding what actually matters for a local business like yours and explaining it so you can act on it or hand it to whoever runs your website.
What you get
A one-page report each month, with the top fixes listed in order.
An alert if your website goes down or a key page breaks.
Tracking over time, so you can see whether things are improving.
A short call to walk through the report, if you want one.
What it takes from you
- Your website address and access to your Google Business Profile.
- A list of the services and towns you most want to be found for.
Honest limits
- Search rankings move slowly. Expect months, not days, for changes to show up.
- No one can promise a top spot on Google, and I won’t.
- The report tells you what to fix. If you want the fixes made, that’s a separate job, and I can do it or work with your web person.
If you sell on price, competitor price and stock alerts pair well with this.
