From a free call to hours back in your week
It starts with a free 20-minute call, and you leave with at least one idea either way. If it makes sense to keep going, here’s exactly what happens next.
Book a free 20-minute call- Step 1Free 20-minute callWe talk about where your week actually goes, and I point out one likely fix. You leave with at least one useful idea, even if we never talk again.
- Step 2Discovery sessionA paid hour on how the work moves through your business, recorded with your OK so I can comb through the details afterward. We also put a number on what your time is worth.
- Step 3Find the timeI map where your hours go, then we pick the automations that win back the most time. You get a written plan and quote, and nothing gets built until you sign off.
- Step 4Build and dial inComplex builds run up to about four months, with weekly 45-minute calls early on to tune them to how your team works. Simpler tools, like an after-hours voice agent or a chatbot, are often dialed in within a few weeks, with a shorter engagement to match. You keep the judgment calls, like pricing and promises to customers.
You own it
When the engagement ends, everything I built is yours. There’s no gatekeeping and no monthly fee to me to keep it running. You aren’t locked in to me to keep it working, and you won’t need me for the small stuff.
Some tools run on outside services, like a phone line or an AI service. Those accounts are in your name, or I set them up and hand them over to you. You pay those services directly, at their own rates, and I’ll tell you up front which ones your setup needs.
What it costs
Every business is different, so the price comes from your quote, not a rate card. Here’s the shape:
Free 20-minute call: no charge and no commitment.
Discovery session: $1,000, fixed. That covers the hour together, plus my research and follow-up afterward.
Setup: a one-time fee, paid up front when the build starts.
The build: a set price, paid monthly over the engagement, so you know the total before we start.
Quotes are based on the time you get back, which is why we put a number on your time in the discovery session. If the numbers don’t work for your business, I’ll say so.
After the engagement
By the end of the engagement, the goal is for everything to be dialed in and running on its own. I make sure you and your team can handle the day-to-day tweaks yourselves, like updating an answer or a price. For fixes, bigger changes or new ideas, you can bring me back any time. When you ask for help, I reply as fast as I can, and always within one business day. I’m open to hourly, a retainer or another arrangement that suits you, and I can be flexible. If you want faster, priority help, there’s a separate support retainer.
Working together often turns up the next thing worth fixing, because once one process runs smoothly, the next bottleneck is easier to see. Whether you do anything about it is up to you. Either way, what you have keeps working.
Questions people ask
Is the 20-minute call really free?
Yes. It costs nothing, you don’t commit to anything and you leave with at least one useful idea. More on the free 20-minute call.
Why is the discovery session paid?
Because it’s real work: an hour together, then my time afterward going through the details to find where your hours go and what would win them back. What you get from the discovery session.
Do I need to be technical?
No. You need to know your business, and I handle the setup and make sure you can make the small adjustments yourself. More on what it asks of you.
What if it doesn’t work?
The written plan says up front what it will and won’t do, and the weekly check-ins early on are there to fix what’s off. My policy is to make it right. If what I build doesn’t actually save you time or money, I don’t want you paying for something that isn’t working, and we’ll work out what’s fair. More on what happens if it doesn’t work.
Who owns it, and what do I pay after?
You own it, with no monthly fee to me after the engagement ends. The only ongoing costs are outside services like a phone line or an AI service. Those accounts are in your name, and you pay them directly. More on who owns what I build.
Is my information safe, and do you record our calls?
With your OK, I record the free 20-minute call and the discovery session, mainly for the transcript, so I can listen instead of taking notes. The recordings stay on my own devices, and I may use AI tools to transcribe and review them. I use them for your project and nothing else, and I’ll delete yours if you ask. If you’d rather I didn’t record, we’ll just talk. More on recordings and your data.
