Competitor price and stock alerts
Know when a competitor’s prices or stock change, without checking yourself.

How it works
- Competitor pages are checked on a schedule
- Real price or stock changes are spotted
- You get a short alert
The problem
When a competitor drops a price, every week you don’t notice can cost you sales. Competitor price and stock alerts do the checking for you and only speak up when something real changes.
If you sell parts, equipment or anything with a price tag, you probably check a few competitors’ websites now and then. It takes time, it’s easy to forget, and by the time you notice a price drop, you’ve already lost a few sales to it.
What I set up
A check that runs on a schedule, usually weekly, against the competitor pages you care about. It looks at the prices, products and stock on those pages and compares them to last time. You get a short message only when something real changes, like a price going up or down or an item going out of stock. Local shops and suppliers in Moses Lake, Ephrata and around the Columbia Basin are who I build this for, and it works just as well on competitors that only sell online.
Small changes to a website that don’t matter, like a new banner image, get ignored. I’d rather send you two useful alerts a month than twenty you learn to skip.
What you get
A list of competitor pages and products being watched, agreed with you up front.
Alerts by email or text when prices, products or stock change.
A simple history, so you can see how a competitor’s prices move over time.
Changes to the list whenever you want to add or drop a competitor.
What it takes from you
- The competitors and products you want to watch.
- How often you want to hear about changes, and how you’d like to get them.
Honest limits
- It only sees what’s on public web pages. Prices given over the phone or in person won’t show up.
- Some websites change their layout or block automated checks. When that happens, I fix the check or tell you that page can’t be watched reliably.
- It tells you what changed. What to do about it is still your call.
If you also want to know how you show up next to those competitors in local search, SEO reports cover that.
